'Tis the season

'Tis the season for kids standing around looking bewildered while a show goes on around them.

But Leo is starting to get the hang of it. (Three little pigs song.)

Giving Santa his letter.

I don't think I want any part of this.

Breaking the ice on the canal.

Louisa's first haircut.

Chappy Channukah!

A day on the town with Lucy and Aaron.

The long, long car ride.

A break for browsing at Best Buy.

Springfield!

Toledo!

Philadelphia!

A magic show at Louisa's school, and Leo got to work some magic of his own.

Behold! The tiniest skates in the world.

He runs, the pro.

New Year's Eve fireworks over the Delaware.

Followed by hot chocolate.

The new year takes flight!

November

These birds swooped in from New Orleans and took my kids.

Louisa got to be Shabbat queen at school.

Look how carefully she carries the Torah.

She's taking it very seriously.

Mohonk "World of Words" Weekend!

Look at the view from our balcony!

They had blocks in the lounge.

But it was the ash can that really interested us.

The staff was very helpful.

The kids' club had it all.

You could hike to the other side of the lake and get a good look at the hotel.

I mean, seriously, look at it.

This place was niiiiiice.

Went a little crazy when we got back home.

But, Lord help us, Anwar's birthday party introduced us to Chuck-E-Cheese.

This cannot be good for him.

We lost Poppo.

But got a chance to see everybody.

And meet a puppy.

I liked that a lot.

We also got to spend a whole day at the Hands-On museum.

And eat this!
