Le grand voyage: Alsace
Another day, another efficient European rental car (another reason to have only one suitcase!)
takes us to...the (French) land of sausage, sauerkraut, and wine.
Louisa discovered soft boiled eggs for breakfast, and Leo discovered...CHOCOLATE CEREAL??!!?

It's nice and cool in the mountains of Alsace.
The kids took pictures of each other while waiting in line...
for a spectacular birds-of-prey show...
at another castle.
I don't think there's any place in America where you can get this close to an American bald eagle.
They started acting like monkeys,
so we took them to Monkey Mountain.
There were cool beetles there too.
One more country to go. One lovely evening in Heidelberg, Germany.
